Below is a list of open positions for the CHPA Communications Unit. Description of what activities and responsibilities each position implies follows. Feel free to offer your help and expertise, and join the project.
Please note that the positions descriptions presented outline only major responsibilities that may change over time. Also new additional responsibilities will most certainly emerge so take this into consideration.
Unit Leader will coordinate and supervise Communications Unit activities and will have at least the following major responsibilities:
- developing plans and devising new, innovative ways of acquiring (permission to host) music, videos, etc.
- ensuring these plans meet deadlines and are successful
- mentoring new unit members
- coordinating unit members' activities
- attending arranged meetings with bands
- attending project meetings
- providing information on progress and results of unit activities according to devised plans
- communicating with members of other project units
- communicating with bands
- communicating with press & public
An ideal candidate will have outstanding social and organizational skills, a real-life 1+ year experience working as a Unit or Team Leader, a passion for hardcore music and sub-culture, high discipline, be self-motivated and self-starting, able to plan, manage and lead others, have enough free time to take on the outlined responsibilities, share project core believes, excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is a must.
Archive Contents Producer will carry out negotiations with bands members and/or bands representative(s) with the purpose of acquiring their permission to add band's audio and/or video materials to CHPA on terms of project's Multimedia Hosting Policy, obtaining original data sources of these materials and creating proper releases to add then to archive. Archive Contents Producer's major responsibilities are:
- communicating and carrying out negotiations with bands members and/or bands representatives getting permission from bands members and/or to add bands' materials to archive
- obtaining original data sources of the materials
- preparing and uploading proper releases of these materials according to project quality standards guidelines
- communicating and working with members of other units when necessary
- attending arranged meetings with bands and/or their representatives
- attending unit meetings
An ideal candidate will have outstanding social and conversational skills, great attention to detail, excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, be computer proficient (being able to make Audio/Video CD/DVD rips, understand what ID3 tags, video resolution, bitrate, etc. are), basic understanding of copyright laws specific to the countries of operation of a candidate is a huge plus.
